Chair

  1. Stand with your feet together, hands on your hips. Keep your weight distributed evenly to find your centre of gravity.
  2. Exhale as you bend your knees, sending your butt behind you as you sit on an imaginary chair. Remember not to go down too low, where you start to lose your balance.
  3. Raise your arms overhead, keeping your palms flat. Hold this pose for 30-60 seconds, and remember to keep breathing.
  4. To exit the posture, push firmly through your feet to extend your legs, and then release your arms down by your sides.
